About Neil Quinn Edwards

Executive Guide for Conscious Leadership • Coaching Supervisor • Experiential Facilitator • Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner • Ocean Voyager

Leadership today is not a skills problem — it’s a systems problem, a relational problem, and often, a soul problem.

I guide leaders, teams, and coaches who are navigating complexity, transition, and systemic change. My work blends professional mastery with deep relational presence, energetic intelligence, and experiential learning to support leaders who want to create meaningful impact without losing themselves in the process.

Where I Stand

My work is shaped by lifelong commitments to truth, emergence, soul, and systemic wellbeing — and expressed through the Five Cornerstones of Edge Crossing:

  • Soul – honoring the deeper essence of who you are and why you are here

  • Emergence – trusting and working with what is unfolding, rather than forcing what is not yet ready

  • Activation – turning insight into aligned, courageous action

  • Intimacy – cultivating honest, compassionate relationship with self, others, and system

  • Truth – meeting what is real, without bypassing or collapse

These cornerstones create a field where transformation is not a performance, but a lived experience: grounded, ethical, embodied, and generative.

How I Work

My approach is holistic and rigorous, integrating:

  • ICF PCC + ACTC (advanced coaching credentials)

  • EMCC EIA-SP & ESIA (senior practitioner and accredited supervisor)

  • ORSCC systems and relationship coaching

  • Co-Active Leadership and experiential design

  • Shamanic Energy Medicine (Four Winds Society lineage)

  • Relational presence, reflective practice, and complexity leadership

  • Experiential learning on land and water — including leadership sails in San Francisco Bay and The Bahamas

Whether I’m coaching a senior executive, supervising seasoned practitioners, or facilitating a leadership experience at sea, the core aim is the same:

to bring leaders back into right relationship with themselves, with others, and with the systems they serve.

Where I Come From

I am Bahamian and U.S. American. My roots are island, ocean, and movement. My lineage is filled with people who learned to navigate uncertain waters — literal and social — with resourcefulness, grace, and courage.

I carry those teachings into my work.

Professionally, I’ve spent years in leadership development, including time as an internal coach with PwC’s Leadership Coaching Center of Excellence, faculty roles with the Coaching Supervision Academy and the Co-Active Leadership Program, and advanced training in shamanic and energetic traditions.

My ongoing participation in the Clipper Round the World Race has taken me across thousands of ocean miles. Life at sea continues to deepen my understanding of leadership under pressure, interdependence, and the necessity of trusting both data and intuition.

Who I Support

I work with:

  • Senior leaders and executives navigating high-stakes roles

  • Big 4 and other Professional Services Consultants

  • ESG, sustainability, and climate leaders at the edge of systemic change

  • Change agents and culture shapers inside complex systems

  • Certified coaches and supervisors seeking depth and ethical rigor

  • Founders, innovators, and creators holding bold visions

  • Leadership teams in moments of tension, transition, or re-alignment

A Note on This Season of Work

At times, responsible leadership requires consolidating experience and capability before expanding scope. I am currently engaging selectively, with a focus on work that reflects integration, effectiveness, and long-term value.

What I Believe

When leaders thrive, systems thrive.

When leaders are fragmented, systems fracture around them.

I locate leadership in the whole human — not just the role or title — and support transformation that is:

  • Grounded in reality and responsibility

  • Ethical in its impact on people and systems

  • Embodied in how you show up, not just what you say

  • Sustainable for you and for the world you influence

What You Can Expect

From working with me, you can expect:

  • Truth without violence

  • Compassion without enabling

  • Boundary with care

  • Clarity with soul

  • Depth with practicality

  • A partner who will walk beside you, not above you

I will see both your light and your shadow — and we will work with both.

Edge Crossing is where you come to remember the leader you were always meant to be, and to grow into the one this moment in history is asking you to become.

“Coaching with Quinn is deeper than tangible results. There is a below-the-surface intimacy. This is about having a deeper knowledge of yourself, yourself in relationships, how you change, how you evolve, how you actualize your intentions in complex systems without losing yourself and maintaining your integrity.”

It’s like having a compass that I can use over and over again to move with purpose through unfamiliar and changing territory.

The longer version of Quinn’s background

ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) | EMCC Accredited Coaching Supervisor (ESIA) | Master Energy Medicine Practitioner | Ocean Wayfinder

I partner with leaders who are shaping a regenerative and sustainable future—executives, founders, ESG champions, change leaders, coaches, and team leaders committed to creating meaningful impact in their organizations, communities, and the world we share.

My career has spanned the helm of leadership and human development: rising to Vice President in organizational leadership, serving as an executive & leadership coach in PwC’s Leadership Coaching Center of Excellence, and guiding leaders at all levels through complex systems and transformative change. As a former faculty member with CRR Global, I have taught  Organization and Relationship Systems Coaching (ORSC) and partnered with clients worldwide to elevate team alignment and performance. I now serve as Faculty Leader for the Co-Active Training Institute’s 10-month Co-Active Leadership Program and the Co-Active Leadership Workshop, where I guide diverse groups to deepen personal mastery and expand their leadership capacity. As an Accredited Coaching Supervisor, I train and supervise some of the world’s most experienced coaches in the art and discipline of Coaching Supervision and Reflective Practice through the Coaching Supervision Academy across North America, Asia, and the UK.

I am a sailor, and the sea is my teacher. The tides and wind remind me that leadership is navigation—listening deeply to shifting conditions, holding steady to purpose, and knowing when to tack or pause. The ocean’s rhythms mirror the pulse of teams and organizations: calm and fierce, ordered and wild, always alive and becoming.

My commitment to lifelong wellness began in my teens, supported by two academic degrees in human performance and health & wellness, and has evolved into a philosophy grounded in the belief that everything is energy. As a Master Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner, trained through The Four Winds Society in the traditions of the Q’ero people of Peru, I work with both visible and invisible fields to restore balance, enhance performance, and channel energy toward thriving—for individuals, teams, and organizations.

I bring this integrated expertise—corporate leadership, systems coaching, wellbeing, and energy medicine—into every engagement. My work is systemic and deeply human, designed to expand capacity, align vision with action, and create results that endure, for people, business, and planet.

Quinn’s Back Story

Photo of Neil sitting in a cabana painted in tropical colors wearing sunglasses and a straw fedora. Smiling into the camera over a bowl of fresh conch salad and a glass of white wine.

Originally from The Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Quinn has lived in the US as a working professional since 1997, and in California since 2000 with a short two-year stay in Oregon. He is an Island Boy in California. When not partnering with clients, he can be found skippering or crewing sailing vessels, running, wine tasting, enjoying various local events with family and friends, and coaching high school track & field during Winter and Spring seasons. He travels to his homeland, The Commonwealth of the Bahamas a couple times each year for restoration and connection with his roots. He gets out to other parts of the world for business and exploration with family and friends. Quinn currently lives and works from the unceeded tribal lands of the Nissenan indigenous people, near the Sierra Foothills in California. He lives with his wife Jennifer, and two daughters Abigail and Allison. Feel free to give the original stewards of this beautiful land money!
